A 14-year-old child has appeared in court accused of m_rdering his 80-year-old grandfather in a park. Bhim Kohli di3d of terrible !njuries sustained while walking his dog in Franklin Park, near his home in Braunstone Town, Leicestershire, on Sunday.
The boy appeared in Leicester Magistrates’ Court, which serves as a youth court, and was remanded in jail until his hearing at Leicester Crown Court on Thursday afternoon.
The youngster, who could not be recognized due to his age, spoke simply to confirm his name and birth date.
Four minors, including a 14-year-old girl and three 12-year-olds, were initially detained as m_rder suspects but were later cleared and released without charges.
The autopsy report revealed that the victim, Mr. Kohli, sustained a fatal neck !njury, with additional tests pending.
His family remembered him as a kind and compassionate individual who cherished spending time walking their dog in the park, a daily routine he thoroughly enjoyed
