Five people are reported to have d!ed after a commuter omnibus was involved in a head-on collision with a haulage truck along Donnybrook Road in Mabvuku, Harare, this Tuesday evening.
Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the accident saying police is attending to the accident scene and investigations to ascertain the cause of the accident are underway.
In a statement Seen by Newsreportzim.com on X formerly twitter Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the incident.
The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred today at around 1700 hours along Donnybrook Road , Chizhanje area, Mabvuku in which a lorry was involved in a head on collision with a commuter omnibus. Subsequently, another commuter omnibus rammed onto the back of the first commuter omnibus. Five people d!ed on the spot. Police are currently at the scene. More details will be released in due course.
