Former Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) Member of Parliament for Mkoba North constituency, Amos Chibaya has been granted USD500 bail by the Harare High Court Judge. Chibaya spent over 40 days in pre-trial detention facing v!olance incitement charges.
Former Citizens Coalition for change lawmaker and deputy spokesperson, Gift Ostallos Siziba has confirmed the development on his X handle account.
“Hon Chibaya has been granted $500 bail, thank you fellow compatriots for the solid support and solidarity with Hon Chibaya during his illegal detention. The fight is on!,” he posted
Chibaya is @ccused of inc!ting the public to commit vi0lence following his address to CCC supporters at Harare Magistrates Court in June this year after their interim leader Jameson Timba was denied bail.
