Ephert Ngulube stood before Bulawayo magistrate Challenge Mahembe, declaring his unwavering love for his wife, Sandra Ngulube, despite sh0cking revelations of betrayal.
Ephert’s declaration came after he discovered a nak3d photo of Sandra with another man and learned that she was pregnant by someone else.
Sandra, seeking a protection order against Ephert, recounted her fears to the court as reported by B Metro.
“When he comes home from nights out, he accuses me of infidelity, calls me a prostitute, and physically @ss@ults me. At one point, he even left a note threatening to k!ll me. I fear for my life,” she testified.

Ephert, in his defense, admitted to assaulting his wife but attempted to justify his actions by detailing the betrayal he felt.
“I found a nak3d picture of her being embraced by another man,” he confessed.
“To make matters worse, she became pregnant by someone else while in South Africa ordering stock for her business.”
Despite these revelations, Ephert maintained his commitment to their marriage, saying, “After discovering the pregnancy, both our families intervened. My wife and I decided to work things out and stay together because I truly love her.” When the magistrate pressed him on the sincerity of his feelings, Ephert reaffirmed his love for Sandra.
However, the court ruled in Sandra’s favor, granting her a five-year protection order.
The order prohibits Ephert from insulting, threatening, or physically assaulting her, marking a pivotal moment in their troubled relationship.
