Bundesliga giant Bayern Munich may have to pay €20m (£17m) to the relegated Premier League club Burnley if they choose Vincent Kompany as their new coach.
Despite Burnley’s relegation, the young coach Vincent Kompany has been considered a viable option.
Recent developments, confirmed by Sky Germany, indicate that Burnley wants €20m (£17m) from Bayern Munich for Kompany. However, the German giants are reluctant to pay this fee, and negotiations are ongoing.
Kompany is waiting for the green light from Burnley, and according to Sky Germany, he is not yet in Munich.
It is believed that Kompany, 38, would bring his Clarets backroom staff with him to Munich, including former Wales international Craig Bellamy.
Bayern has struggled to find a replacement for Thomas Tuchel, whose departure was confirmed last week after initially being announced in February.
