Rapper Cardi B showed her support for Vice President Kamala Harris with a passionate speech at a campaign rally in Wisconsin on November 1, 2024.
Wearing an all-white power suit, Cardi energized the crowd at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis as she expressed her belief in Harris’s vision for the country.
Cardi B asked the crowd, “Are we ready to make history?” They responded with loud cheers. She shared that Harris had changed her mind about voting. At first, Cardi didn’t plan to vote, but Harris’s message made her feel hopeful. “I didn’t believe in any candidates until she joined the race and said what I needed to hear,” Cardi said, pointing out that Harris addressed issues that mattered to her.
In her nearly 10-minute speech, Cardi praised Harris for her kindness, passion, and dedication to important issues like economic inequality and high living costs. “Kamala sees that our country is in trouble. We need a stronger economy, and living expenses are too high,” she told the audience. She emphasized how women often have to work harder to succeed. “Like Kamala Harris, I have also been an underdog. Women have to work ten times harder and still get questioned about how we made it,” Cardi explained, connecting deeply with the crowd.

As the rally continued, Cardi spoke about former President Donald Trump, making her feelings clear. She talked about Trump’s recent comments about protecting women and said, “He claims he will protect women whether we like it or not.” Cardi challenged his idea of “protection,” stating that real support for women’s rights means giving them choices. “Protection means supporting women with the healthcare we need, not telling us what to do with our bodies,” she declared.
She didn’t hold back in criticizing Trump’s policies, saying they promote “hate, division, and confusion” and could take away Americans’ rights and access to affordable healthcare. Cardi firmly stated, “I’m not giving Donald Trump another chance. I won’t risk my future or my children’s future!”
In her closing, Cardi gave a strong message for the upcoming election. “I’m with Kamala. I believe in her. And I believe in you, America. Get out and vote on Tuesday. Let’s win this!” Her endorsement, along with other artists like GloRilla, Flo Milli, and MC Lyte, added excitement to Harris’s campaign, urging voters to make history in the election.
