Today, 31th of July, in Catholic history the world is commemorating the de@th of the Spanish priest and theologian, Saint Ignatius of Loyola who d!ed on 31 July 1556.
St. Ignatius of Loyola was one of the most influential figures in the Counter-Reformation.
Known for its missionary, educational, and charitable works, the Jesuit order was a leading force in the modernising of the Roman Catholic Church.
Earlier before St Ignatius became the priest, he was a dr_g add!ct, g@y, th!ef.
His Mother Saint Monica did not give up praying for many years for her son to repent.
St Ignatius Father was an alc0holic as well. Monica was very strong in prayering using her Rosary for Ignatius and his Father to repent.
Later St Ignatius repented to Catholic and became a Catholic priest, greatest Philosopher, build church monasteries and became a great preacher. St Ignatius’ Father repented and became a Catholic too.
There was peace and love in Monica’s house through prayer.
Therefore in Roman Catholic, it became their norms the commemorate the de@th of St Ignatius every year.
