It is suspected that the bulk of the illicit meat is destined for Harare’s bustling butcheries, where it is sold to unsuspecting consumers. On Tuesday, the residents of Munatswa Village fell victim to the rustlers’ nefarious activities, losing several of their prized beasts to the heartless thieves.

According to media reports, a local farmer who suffered losses, the rustlers operate with impunity, often slaughtering the cattle behind Manyewe Shops. The sources recounted the events of Tuesday morning, when a witness stumbled upon the rustlers in the early hours, around 4 am.
