Nelson Chamisa, a Zimbabwean opposition leader and former president of the Citizens Coalition for Change, has written a congratulatory message to the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the UK Labour Party following their victory in the recent general elections.
In a statement seen by newsreportzim.com, Chamisa emphasized that the voice of the citizens must always count and matter.
“It’s always refreshing and inspiring to witness democracy in action and see citizens empowered through the ballot. Citizens’ voices must always count and matter,” Chamisa said.

“CONGRATULATIONS..I sincerely and heartily congratulate the new UK Prime Minister Sir @Keir_Starmer, and the @UKLabour party on the landslide victory they recorded in the General elections.”
