Chelsea has reportedly submitted it’s first bid for Villarreal goalkeeper, Filip Jorgensen. According to an update by Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side have bid €20 million for Filip Jörgensen.
“Chelsea send first bid in the region of €20m to Villarreal for Filip Jorgensen!
It follows talks on player side as revealed earlier this week; he’s on the list as potential new GK for Maresca'” the update reads.
The Blues had already held discussions with the Dane over a potential move – and with Enzo Maresca keen on the ‘amazing’ talent, he is on their list as a potential new goalkeeper to battle with Dorde Petrovic and Robert Sanchez for a first-team place between the sticks in west London.
Chelsea, under the new management of Maresca as head coach are still in the market searching for potential players who can lift trophies as they wish in the coming season.
