The West London based Premier League gaint Chelsea, have set a price tag on striker Christopher Nkunku (26) amid interest from the German club, Bayer Munich. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues initially requested €70m from Bayern for Christopher Nkunku.
“Chelsea’s initial request to Bayern for Christopher Nkunku: €70m package,” Romano confirmed.
The 26-year-old France international is reportedly open to a return to the Bundesliga after his breakout seasons with RB Leipzig. Nkunku’s with the Blues has been rumored to be coming to an abrupt end after only 18 months in West London. Nkunku’s first season was marred with injuries.
Since the start of the current campaign, the former PSG Academy graduate finds game time limited under the tutelage of Enzo Maresca. So far this season, Nkunku only played 195 minutes of Premier League football with most of his playing time allocated to the domestic cups and the Conference League.
The France international has logged 13 goals and four assists in 28 games played in all competitions for Maresca’s Blues.
