An unfaithful spouse who fathered a kid outside of his marriage received half of his estranged wife’s pension money as part of a div0rce settlement that caused controversy.
The wife filed an appeal with the Limpopo High Court in Polokwane after the couple, who were married in community of property, had their div0rce settlement initially decided at the Magistrate Court.
Citing his wife’s alleged infidelity with many men, including a trip to Thailand with another guy, the husband had filed for div0rce.

However, the wife disputed these allegations and reacted with her own accusations, claiming that the husband was unfaithful and had fathered a kid outside of their marriage.
Despite the wife’s claims that the husband contributed little to their joint estate and was vi0lent, the court found in his favor, awarding him half of her pension fund.
The wife had attempted to deny him a share of her pension, noting his lack of financial support and his receipt of a substantial salary from his previous work without contributing to their joint estate.
