The 2024 Chibuku Super Cup tournament is set to start on the 7th of August 2024 at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane.
The tournament will begin with the preliminary round matches, where the bottom four of the PSL clubs will compete as per the draw.
The first match will be played between Telone and Arenel Movers at midday, while Chegutu Pirates will take on Hwange at 3 p.m.
The winners will join 14 other teams in the second round of the prestigious tournament, bankrolled by Delta Beverages for US$375,000.
Premier Soccer League (PSL) president Farai Jere has encouraged clubs to take the Chibuku Super Cup tournament seriously as it provides them with an avenue to play in the CAF inter-club tournaments.
“We are encouraging our clubs to take this competition seriously.
It give you the ticket to the Confederation Cup and it’s the reason why Dynamos will be playing ZESCO United of Zambia,” Jere said.
