Chidimma Vannessa Adetshina, a former contestant in the Miss South Africa competition, has officially accepted an invitation to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
This opportunity comes after Adetshina decided to withdraw from the Miss SA 2024 competition due to controversy surrounding her citizenship status, stemming from her unique heritage—her father being Nigerian and her mother of Mozambican descent.
The Miss Universe Nigeria pageant will not only provide her with a platform to showcase her beauty and talent but also offers a chance to represent Nigeria on an international level.
Upon receiving the invitation from the Silverbird Group, the organizers of the pageant, Adetshina expressed her enthusiasm in a heartfelt video message, highlighting the significance of this new chapter in her journey.
