The legendary Orchestra Dendere Kings boss Simon “Chopper” Chimbetu was remembered in Guruve on Saturday.
His son Sulumani “Captain” Chimbetu took his band at Guruve hotel where they remembered the late Chopper who died in 2005 this month.
Guruve hotel brand ambassador Simbarashe Sithole said they were honoured to host Orchestra Dendera kings in Guruve.
“It was an honour to host such a big event at their hotel and with Heroes day drawing closer we hope all Dendera fans enjoyed this memorable day,” Sithole said.
Sulumani Chimbetu who was in the United Kingdom last week said he was happy to be back home and was keen to meet his fans in Mashonaland Central.
“We were so happy to be back home and we were happy to meet our fans in Mashonaland Central especially those in Guruve in commemoration of the hero Simon Chimbetu,” added Sulumani
