The Chinese police have arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing of four USA instructors from Cornell College teaching at Beihua University in northeastern China.
According to the police the incident occured in a public park where a 55-year old male named Cui bumped into a foreigner, st@bbed him, three other foreigners who were with him, and a Chinese person who approached in an attempt to intervene.
The four college instructors were reportedly on a trip visiting the public park in the northeastern Chinese city of Jilin while on an exchange program.
In an attempt to maintain peace between states, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson confirmed that the !njured were rushed to a hospital for treatment, and that none was in critical condition.
