Zimbabwe’s renowned journalist and Anti-Corruption activist, Hopewell criticized Zimbabwean prophet Passion Java, for decẹiving Americans by pretending to speak in tongues. He highlights guIIibility in Zimbabwe, exemplified by citizens’ bIind faith in fakẹ prophets.
In a tweet extracted by newsreportzim.com from Chin’ono’s twitter handle page, he attached a video of Prophet Passion Java pretending to speak in tongues.
Chin’ono wrote the following:
This is a FAKE Zimbabwean prophet, Passion Java, who is very good friends with our country’s president, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
He is che@ting Americans in this video, pretending to speak in tongues when he is actually speaking in broken Shona🤣🤣.
If this congregation were told the truth, they would probably defend this man to their de@ths.
That is how folks are brainwashed by fake prophets abus!ng religion!
This man has a huge following in Zimbabwe, which tells a story about our country’s state of mind when an adult with a family follows such a charlatan crook.
But that is where we are as a country, it is happening, these are real stories.
We not only need new leaders, but also a new citizen mindset.
Zimbabweans are so easily brainwashed; there are many examples where my compatriots are impervious to common sense.
For instance, our government believed it could extract diesel from a rock.
State Security and cabinet ministers were conned by a Grade 7 dropout into believing that.
Men with PhDs were ordered to take off their shoes and bow to this Grade 7 dropout at her shrine.
Our government gave her money, a farm, and cars after she claimed she had the power to make diesel come out of a rock 😂😂😂.
That is my people right there. We are gullible, we are easy to con, and we need a change of mentality!
This Grade 7 dropout connected two ranks of diesel behind her shrine and pretended that it was coming out of a rock, these ministers including one for intelligence who is now a Vice-President danced with joy🤣🤣🤣
His remarks came after Prophet Passion Java brought the Night of wanders in the country. The event was scheduled for 09 May this week at the country’s biggest stadium.
