A well-known socialite Freddy Mudhe, hailing from the Chief Madyangove area in Chivi District, is fighting for his life after being struck in the head with a beer bottle during a dispute over a game of snooker on Thursday evening around 8 PM.
Mudhe was left bleeding profusely following the @tt@ck at the Mhandamabwe Business Center and is currently receiving medical treatment at the local clinic.
According to a source who spoke to MidWeek Watch, the incident occurred after Mudhe and Chief Madyangove engaged in an argument related to the snooker game.
However, some friends of the two men suggest that the disagreement was rooted in a rivalry over a local leg vendor who was allegedly involved with both of them.

One message circulating in a local group read, “Freddy Mudhe was hit with a bottle by Chief Madyangove over a betting dispute in snooker, and I believe there’s more to this.”
An audio message purportedly sent by Mudhe himself confirms the incident at the busy business center. In the recording, he states, “It’s me, Mudhe. I’ve been @tt@cked by Chief Madyangove. They are hurting me; they’ve hit me with a bottle, and I’m in pain right now.”
