Vice President Dr. Chiwenga met with Angolan Vice President Ms. Esperance da Costa on the sidelines of the Third Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference in Tajikistan on the 12th of June.
During their meeting, they discussed the necessity for the SADC region to develop localised solutions to ensure the provision of clean water to citizens.
The two addressed the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.
Chiwenga arrived in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan on the 9th of June where he is leading a Zimbabwean delegation at the Third Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe has joined other member states of the United Nations (UN), international civic organizations, the private sector, academia, youth, and other stakeholders at the conference.
