Commissioner General of Police Godwin Matanga has issued a stern warning to newly promoted senior police officers to remain vigilant and watch out for anarchists who may attempt to disrupt the country’s peace and stability.
Addressing the newly promoted officers at a ceremony to mark their promotion, Matanga emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order in the country. He warned that there are individuals who may seek to undermine the country’s peace and security, and it is crucial that the police service is proactive in identifying and preventing such threats.
“The promotion of these officers is a testament to their hard work and dedication to serving the nation,” Matanga said. “As senior police officers, it is your duty to protect the people and maintain peace in our communities. I urge you to remain vigilant and watch out for anarchists who may attempt to disrupt our peace and stability.”
The Commissioner General also highlighted the need for police officers to work closely with other security agencies to combat crime and maintain law and order. He emphasized the importance of effective communication and coordination between law enforcement agencies to prevent crimes from being committed.
“We must work together as a team to achieve our goals,” Matanga said. “We cannot do it alone, and we need to support each other to ensure that our communities are safe and secure.”
