A devastating sh00ting incident has left the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo reeling, resulting in the loss of two lives and a serious !njury.
A sergeant attached to the Provincial Crime Intelligence Unit allegedly opened fire on a woman brigadier, the Head of the Provincial Registrar, before turning the g_n on himself.
According to Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, the incident occurred on Sunday in Southern Gateway, Westenburg, after lunch.
When police arrived, they found the male v!ctim with a fatal g_nshot w0und to the head and the woman officer with multiple g_nshot w0unds. Both vict!ms were pronounced de@d at the scene.

A former police officer was also sh0t in the altercation and is receiving medical attention. The motive behind the sh00ting remains unknown, and investigations are underway.
The SAPS police commissioner in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, strongly condemned the incident, emphasising that such actions go against the values and principles of SAPS.
The police are providing support to the affected families and urge the public to respect their privacy and refrain from speculating on the case details until all facts are established.
