In a distressing incident that unfolded in Masvingo, a male body was found floating in Shakashe River before Masvingo Teachers College. The incident occurred on 19th of February, 2024.
According to Masvingo Mirror, Masvingo Deputy Police Spokesperson Masauso Patinyu confirmed that the man is approximately 40-years-old and they are yet to identify him.
Zimbabwe Republic Police is urging families with missing male relatives to visit Rujeko Police Station or Masvingo Provincial Hospital to identify the body.
“The body was found in a state of decomposition and was taken to Masvingo Provincial Hospital for postmortem. We urge families with missing male relatives to visit Rujeko Police Station or Masvingo Provincial Hospital to identify the body. We are yet to ascertain when the man d!ed,” said Patinyu
