In a storyline twist that is more dramatic than a Nollywood film, as has been reported frequently lately, a University of Zambia student and his two young coworkers were caught fabricating an @bduction in order to financially @buse their father.
After making a fairly poor attempt at healing his own financial w0unds, Zakaria Haringa, a future medical doctor with hopes of curing b0dies, woke up this morning in handcuffs.
In an attempt to make up for his gambling losses, Haringa fabricated an @bduction story with the assistance of two young accomplices. Using a startling video, he persuaded his father Steven Haringa that he had been k!dnapped by thieves who were seeking K80,000 in ransom.

It is claimed that the student wasted money from bets on his phone. With prompt action and support from the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA), the police initiated a thorough investigation.
Even though the suspected kidnappers said they would free Haringa by noon today, the police were able to capture the culprits early.
The three parties in question are under investigation for allegedly extorting money and providing misleading information.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with a recent incident: two male juveniles, aged 18 and 17, who are students at a secondary school in Chongwe, and 20-year-old Zakaria Haringa from Kafue.
Hamoonga criticised the suspects’ actions, highlighting the unnecessary burden they placed on police resources. It appears that Haringa’s attempt to extort money from his father has ultimately harmed his own future prospects, including his aspirations for a medical career.
