Did TB Joshua deceive Zimbabwe’s richest men with Fake Miracle?

Did TB Joshua deceive Zimbabwe’s richest men with Fake Miracle?

There are growing concerns about whether the late Nigerian cleric TB Joshua deceived one of Zimbabwe’s richest men, Cuthbert Dube.

This comes as a BBC Africa Eye investigation, involving more than 25 church insiders, revealed that TB Joshua faked miracles and divine healing.

Back in 2010, Dube, who was then the President of the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) and a prominent local business executive leading the Premier Services Medical Aid Society, sought healing from Prophet TB Joshua at the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria. Dube, facing spinal complications, arrived at the church in a wheelchair. In a globally televised event on Emmanuel TV, he miraculously rose from the wheelchair, celebrating his apparent healing. However, fourteen years later, reports suggest that Dube is still grappling with the same health issue.

Despite attempts by source to reach out to Cuthbert Dube for a comment, there has been no response.

Controversial Allegations and Denials: Did Money Exchange Hands?
At the time of the healing, there were allegations that Dube had paid a substantial sum to TB Joshua’s church before the miraculous event. In response, the church issued a statement denying any payment, emphasizing that the healing was provided free of charge.

“The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) Overseer T. B Joshua has dismissed claims that the fired Zifa president Cuthbert Dube paid tens of thousands dollars as offering to the church ahead of getting his healing when he went for assistance to the Nigerial’s Lagos based church. Dube was healed by T. B Joshua when he was wheelchair bound and was able to walk again. We want to emphasise that miracles, signs, wonders, deliverance and healing cannot be exchanged with money. They are not for sale but free gifts paid for by the blood Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary. We should therefore not trade the name of Jesus with money. Salvation is free. Whatever you receive from God in The SCOAN is free,” said a statement from SCOAN at the time.
