There was drama at Doek and Slay Picnic Lifestyle party in Greystone Park over the weekend when a woman bashed her husband’s small house.
Police were subsequently called in resulting in the arrest of the woman on assault charges.
Chantel Tapuwanashe Mudziviri of Mbare National followed Nyasha Jamanda to the restroom and unleashed fury on her while she was in the midst of using the facilities. Chantel accused Nyasha of having an extramarital affair with her husband, identified as Kumbi.
Following the incident, the police were promptly called to the scene, and Chantel was subsequently arrested and taken to Borrowdale Police Station. Fortunately for Chantel, she was released from police custody Speaking to source after her release, she indicated that the issue was now resolved and declined to provide further comments, stating that it was in the past.
Chantel expressed her current focus on securing the bag, saying,
“Yes, I was arrested and later released. It’s over now, and I cannot comment further since the case is now water under the bridge. Nditori muchiround zvangu kuita zvebasa.”
Nyasha, the alleged victim, could not be reached for comment at the time.The event featured performances by Trevor Dongo, Alexio Kawara, Anita Jaxson, and the Travelers Band.
In a separate development, Trevor Dongo and South African singer Nokwazi Dlamini have collaborated on a new track titled ‘Reasons to Love’. Both artists expressed their excitement about working together, with Trevor sharing,
