The speculation erupted following a scene in her upcoming video, “Ndinako Kutenda,” set to be released this weekend. The Mutare-based songwriter, known for her soulful and inspirational music, clarified the misunderstanding that has caused a buzz among her fans and social media users.
The rumors began after a particular scene from her video surfaced online. In the clip, Dorcas plays the role of a maid who finds her life partner, with Lampy from Diamond FM portraying the man proposing to her. This fictional engagement, meant purely for the storyline, was mistaken for a real-life event, leading to a flurry of phone calls and messages from fans seeking confirmation.

“I am one of the people who have gone through a lot but I prefer some privacy on that matter. At the moment, I am concentrating on my musical career,” Dorcas explained.
