A shocking incident has unfolded in Mazabuka, Zambia where a 26-year-old man, Titus Cheelo, lies in critical condition after being st@bbed by his intoxicated wife, Precious Chilimuka.
The 24-year-old woman had left their home on Sunday for a drinking spree, returning around 3 am on Monday, when she unexpectedly att@cked her husband.
Police investigations revealed that Chilimuka had hidden a kitchen knife in her bra before returning home, using it to st@b Cheelo in the lower left jaw and inflict bruis3s on his right arm.
The inj_red husband reported the incident to the police around 4 am, leading to Chilimuka’s immediate arrest.
Southern Province police Commanding Officer, Auxensio Daka, confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect remains in police custody awaiting court appearance.
Cheelo was initially taken to Mazabuka General Hospital but has been referred to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka due to his critical condition.
