Some folks manage to escape consequences no matter how far they push the boundaries.
A habitual wrongdoer from Los Angeles County is once again roaming freely despite numerous arrests for a wide range of s*xual offences and other crimes dating back to 2005.
This serial troublemaker was recently caught on camera sniffing women’s b*ms but has managed to evade the law once again.
Meet Calese Carron Crowder, aged 36, the individual featured in viral TikTok videos who seems to have a peculiar interest in following women around a Barnes & Noble store in Burbank, engaging in what can only be described as peculiar behaviour.
Glendale police took him into custody last week for allegedly spying on a Glendale home with children present, according to official sources.
Interestingly, Crowder carries a rap sheet including felony convictions for robbery and burglary. Despite being ordered to register as a sex offender, his name somehow did not appear on the state’s registry when checked on Wednesday morning.
As if that wasn’t enough, Crowder was accused of peering into a Glendale home with children on August 6th. Just two days later, a Barnes & Noble shopper shared her unsettling encounter with him on TikTok.
Following his arrest on August 11th, Crowder managed to secure his freedom by August 15th thanks to the decision of a California judge who put him on probation.
To provide some context, Crowder had previously done time in state prison on charges of burglary and robbery. He had also received a one-year jail sentence in February for indecent exposure in Santa Clarita, as evidenced by court records.
However, despite this record, Crowder found his way out of jail sooner than anticipated, as relayed by law enforcement insiders.
Caught on Camera: California Man Caught Sniffing Butts in Bookstore
Subsequent to Crowder’s swift release, a concerned victim named Michaela Witter took to TikTok to alert her neighbours to be cautious.
The TikTok video posted on August 8th seemed to feature Crowder crouching behind a woman, possibly engaged in some odd behaviour sniffing her butt.
Witter had captured her unsettling encounter with him at the bookstore and shared it online, prompting an outpouring of support from people who recognized him.
In her single trip to the store, she also recorded the same man pulling the same move on another woman.
She reported him to the front desk and shared the video online, where millions of people saw it, some of whom said they recognized him.
Sources informed TMZ that the Burbank Police Department is currently finalizing its investigation findings regarding the Barnes & Noble incident involving the sniffing, and plans to hand them over to the District Attorney’s office. However, as of now, no charges have been filed against Crowder for that particular incident.
