Innocent Mujeni, a Mutare villager will spend the rest of his life in jail after he was sentenced to de@th by the High Court judge.
According to reports, newsreportzim.com has learned that Innocent Mujeni struck his wife twice with an axe in the head and she d!ed on the spot.
“On the 3rd of September in 2023 Mujeni struck his wife, Vimbai Muchingamwa thrice with an axe; once on the shoulder and twice on the right side of her head following an altercation.”
The 40-year-old man was charged with m-rder and he was convicted after full trial.
