Hazel Muronzi has filed for a protection order against her ex-husband, Passmore Matora, amid serious allegations of attempted rap3 and harassment.
During a hearing on Friday before Magistrate Meenal Narotam, Muronzi recounted an alarming incident where Matora allegedly broke into her home two weeks prior and tried to s3xually @ssault her.
She described how his continuous interference in her life, particularly by collecting rent from her tenants, has contributed to her distress, despite them living separately.
Muronzi stated, “He came to my house, broke my door, and attempted to rap3 me,” reflecting on the invasive nature of Matora’s actions.
In response, Matora acknowledged a confrontation but disputed Muronzi’s portrayal of the events, claiming that the situation escalated after she insulted his wife.
He contended that his visit was originally intended to address maintenance discussions.
The court proceedings are ongoing as Muronzi seeks to secure a legal barrier that would prevent Matora from visiting her home and further disrupting her life.
