A devoted fan of award-winning artist Wallace Chirumiko, widely known as Winky D, was overcome with emotion when he unexpectedly encountered the superstar during a casual outing.
The fan, clearly thrilled at the chance to meet his idol, broke down in tears upon being personally acknowledged by Winky D.
After composing himself, the fan eagerly pulled out his phone and took photos with the artist, wrapping his arm around Winky D as they posed for the pictures.
The Big Man graciously engaged with him, smiling and making some of his signature hand gestures while the fan continued to cheer, shouting “Winky! Winky!! Winky!!!” with enthusiasm.

The fan’s excitement was palpable, and Winky D’s team could be seen in the background of the video. Although the exact location of this heartwarming moment is unknown, the video has quickly gained traction online.
In recent news, Winky D made headlines again when sungura legend Alick Macheso announced his new album, Kupa Kuturika, using a release strategy inspired by the Zimdancehall star.
Unlike his previous albums, which were released in full on his official YouTube channel or as CDs, Macheso opted for a staggered release on YouTube. This approach, he explained, serves both as a marketing tactic and a measure against piracy.
