Another unfair treatment happened as sugarcane farmer in Chiredzi only identified as Chipfere whips a worker for disrespecting him. Chipfere who gives the National Competitiveness Commission Zim Team a tour of his farm as part of the sugar value chain tour flogged his work for not respecting him.
In a statement seen by Newsreportzim.com, Unfair labour practice is rampant among black and Chinese employers at mines and farms in Zimbabwe. This is more so when workers’ committees throughout workplaces and the Labour center, the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) have crumbled.
