The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has reported a devastating road traffic accid3nt that occurred along Harare-Masvingo Road, approximately 84 kilometers from Harare, on May 25th, 2024.
The acc!dent involved a Toyota Hiace kombi, which was carrying 13 passengers, and an Iveco truck, with two passengers on board. The Iveco truck was traveling from behind the kombi when it suddenly collided with the vehicle, causing a chain reaction.
As a result of the impact, two people tragically lost their lives, while 12 others were !njured. The two deceased v!ctims were taken to the Chivhu Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations.
The 12 !njured individuals were rushed to Chivhu Hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their !njuries is not yet known, but they are receiving necessary medical attention.

The investigation into the @ccident is ongoing, but it appears that the Iveco truck swerved to the right and hit a Toyota Hilux vehicle that was parked by the roadside, causing a secondary collision.
