Zimbabwe’s First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa who is currently in Belarus has paid a courtesy call on Mr. Aleksandr Khodzhayev, Belarus’ Minister of Health.
Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa led a delegation of female entrepreneurs at the invitation of the Belarusian government and businesswomen who are inspired by her empowerment programmes and hope to forge partnerships with their Zimbabwean counterparts.
According to First Lady of Zimbabwe’s X post, newsreportzim.com has reliably informed that the First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa has met the Belarusian Minister of Health, Mr. Aleksandr Khodzhayev.
Taking to her X, she wrote the following:
“I had the privilege to meet the Belarusian Minister of Health Mr. Aleksandr Khodzhayev. We discussed the progress we are making through the use of the Mobile State of the Art Hospital. I also told him about the successes made by doctors trained in Belarus.”
“He was delighted to learn that the team of doctors have visited many remote areas in Zimbabwe as part of an elaborate outreach program that aims to bring health for all especially to people living in marginalised communities.”
“As the Health Ambassador, I took the opportunity to invite Belarus to train more doctors and consider investing in the Zimbabwean pharmaceutical sector to augument the demand for medication in Zimbabwe. Considering the central location of our nation this can benefit other SADC countries.”
“Minister Khodzhayev was happy to provide the expertise and I assured him that when I get back home, I will relay the kind gesture so that the Ministry of Health and Child Care start working on the modalities to achieve this”
