The First Lady of Zimbabwe Doctor Auxilia Mnangagwa , alongside female deputy ministers and the spouses of ministers and permanent secretaries, recently took a significant step towards uplifting the lives of women behind bars during her visit to Chikurubi Female Prison.
This compassionate outing focused on fostering hope and rehabilitation among inmates and their children, showcasing the First Lady’s commitment to supporting vulnerable women in society.
During the visit, the group engaged in a unique and heartfelt gesture by preparing and sharing a meal with the inmates.
