In a shocking turn of event, five family members escaped de@th by whisker after their car catched fire and reduced to ashes on Saturday evening.
The incident happened on Saturday 16th of December 2023 around 18 00 hours after their car develops electric fault which causes the accident. The car was heading to Kambuzuma road from the industry area near GMB.
The NewsReportZim.com news crew visited the scene just 20 minutes later and they witnessed the incident.
When NewsReportZim.com crew arrived at the scene, the family was sitted at a distance bidding a farewell to their family car.
A hopeless and powerless man was sitted on the edge of the road watching his Mercedece Benz reduced to ashes.
A group of people who arrived at the seen were keen to know what really transpired.
The painful man only said the car developed a fault when he opened the bonnet he realised that the engine was in flames and rushed to evacuate his family.
