Former Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro has firmly stated that he did not lose assets to his ex-wife, Thando Maseko, despite widespread reports following their divorce.
Ndoro, a well-known figure in the South African Premiership who played for clubs such as Orlando Pirates, Highlands Park, and Ajax Cape Town, parted ways with Maseko in 2022.
Following the split, rumors circulated that he had registered all his assets in his ex-wife’s name, leading to claims that he lost everything and fell on hard times.

In an interview with award-winning South African football journalist Lorenz Kohler on his podcast, Ndoro sought to clear Maseko’s name regarding the difficulties he faced post-divorce.
“I want to clarify that my ex-wife, Maseko, is not to blame for anything,” Ndoro explained. “I didn’t lose anything, and she didn’t take anything from me. We had a very amicable divorce.”
He further elaborated, “When issues arise, it’s easy to point fingers without knowing the full story. In our case, we agreed on how to divide our assets, and it was simply a matter of ‘you take this, and I take that.’ She is completely innocent in this situation; she didn’t do anything wrong.”
