Michael Zumba, a Zimbabwe airtime seller has been acquitted by a Masvingo magistrate on alleged foreign currency dealings.
Magistrate Nomagugu Sibanda granted his release on accounts of insufficient evidence and argued that the cops who gave evidence were not credible witnesses as they gave conflicting information in court.
Zumba was in jail for a period of 30 days in which he l0st his 3-year old daughter and was released last week to attend the funeral.
Zumba was @rrested while selling airtime at Yeukai Business Center in Mucheke and is the first suspected foreign currency dealer to be released in Masvingo.
