Harare – The atmosphere at the National Sports Stadium was electric as thousands thronged the National Sports Stadium to watch President Emmerson Mnangagwa being sworn in for his second term as the president of Zimbabwe on Monday.
Former first lady Grace Mugabe and her daughter Bona Mugabe were among some of the high-profile guests who attended the inauguration ceremony.
The National Sports Stadium was abuzz with excitement as thousands of Zimbabweans gathered to witness the swearing-in of President Mnangagwa.

In the words of Secretary for Information Nick Mangwana,
“Today is a BIG day. His Excellency, President Mnangagwa is ending his first term and starting his Second. So much was achieved in his first term, which has set the bar of expectation high for the Second Term. Congratulations and Best Wishes Murambwi.”

Former VP Dr. Joice Mujuru: A prominent political figure in Zimbabwe, her presence added a sense of political unity to the event.
Former First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe: Grace Mugabe, the widow of former President Robert Mugabe, made a rare public appearance, capturing the attention of the media and the public alike.
