Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has purportedly embraced a modest and ordinary lifestyle. Reports suggest that when he has renounced his presidential pension, returned to teaching at the university for a monthly salary of $250, and resides modestly in his own home.
According to a statement obtained by Newsreportzim.com, Ahmadinejad has been spotted peacefully herding sheep since resigning from the presidency. Even during hotel stays, he opts for simpler accommodations, perhaps without a bed, as he prefers sleeping on the floor with just a mattress and blanket. Additionally, he chooses to travel by bus and has sold his well-maintained Peugeot.
Ahmadinejad, known as an Iranian principalist and nationalist politician, served as the sixth president of Iran from 2005 to 2013.
