In a remarkable twist of fate, a humble 30-year-old carpenter from Mashonaland Central Province has found himself at the center of attention in his Guruve District village.
Four captivating women—two teachers, a caring nurse, and a successful businesswoman—have openly declared their affection for him and expressed a willingness to share a romantic relationship with him.
John Mutenga, known for his exceptional woodworking skills and an unexpected gift for charm, had been discreetly dating teachers Rhoyda Mutenga (26) and Sheila Besa (28), nurse Christina Magama (30), and businesswoman Rose Muma (23).
With a masterful blend of wit and deception, Mutenga had managed to maintain a delicate balance among the four women, introducing each of them to the others under the guise of familial relationships. He claimed one was his cousin, another a sister, and a third an aunt. However, as their lives began to intertwine, suspicions arose.

The facade crumbled when the four women coincidentally arrived at his home for what they believed would be private rendezvous, leading to a confrontation. Faced with undeniable proof of his infidelity, an overwhelmed Mutenga admitted to his romantic entanglements.
In a storm of anger and betrayal, the women retaliated, showering him with slaps and blows. Their commotion echoed throughout the village, drawing a crowd that rushed to Mutenga’s aid, pulling the furious women away from him.
The incident soon reached the ears of the village headman, affectionately known as Wami Wami, who organized a public meeting to address the matter. During the gathering, Mutenga was asked to choose one partner from the group, but he struggled to make a decision.
Defending his actions, Mutenga explained that he never intended to deceive any of the women but was unable to resist their charms and the genuine feelings they all shared.
In a surprising turn, all four women spoke up, stating they had no desire to leave him. They expressed their willingness to share Mutenga, provided he committed time to each of them. Rhoyda praised him for his kindness and the valuable advice he offered, which had positively impacted her life and career. Sheila commended his practical skills and inventive ideas, declaring that his dedication and support were far more important than financial gifts.
The other women echoed their sentiments, affirming they were not ready to part ways with him. With their encouraging declaration, the headman noted that since no one was coercing them, it was now up to Mutenga to manage his affection and time among the four.
The villagers looked on, murmuring in acceptance of this unusual arrangement as the meeting concluded, leaving Mutenga a curious figure of admiration and envy among the men present.
