Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Hwange arrested four men gang aged 29, 33, 43 and 44 in connection with Game poaching.
The ZRP acted on a tip off from the community and that information led to the arrest of Chuma and his colleagues.
In a post seen by NewsreportZim.com, Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms that, On 03/02/24, Police in Hwange acted on received information and arrested Wilson Chuma (43), Billiard Nyoni (29), Morris Mumpande (33) and Amos Mleya (44) for illegal possession of two pieces of ivory.
Chuma and his team are expected to appear in court facing the charges of illegal possession of ivory and also poaching
