The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) has reported that a 63-year-old German tourist tragically collapsed and passed away during a game drive at Hwange National Park.
The authority is currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. According to preliminary reports, the tourist was on medication for heart complications at the time of the incident.
It is unclear whether the heat, the excitement of the game drive, or other factors may have contributed to the medical emergency.
