The popular hitmaker “Gift Case Amuli” has ‘hit back again’ with a new album. The launch of the Stupendous album is to be hosted at Tanza Centre in Chitungwiza. He will be supported by various popular artists which includes the ‘chengetai mababy’ hitmaker Hwindi President , rising artist Bagga, upcoming Gushungo.
The show will be hosted at Tanza Centre where the popular Dj Owen “Ollah 7” Madondo will be the master of ceremony. The popular hitmaker’s album is set to be launched on 22 December 2023 on Unity Day.
Gift Amuli is a prominent Zimbabwean musician known for his contributions to the Sungura genre. He gained popularity with his hit song “Wamatuka,” and his fans affectionately referred to him as “Case.”
Amuli began his music journey in the 80s with the Zig Zag Band before joining Zvishavane Sounds led by Joseph Mutero. In the 90s, they produced the hit “Mutongi Gava.” He was fully employed as a musician by Shabanie Mine. In 2002, he released the album “Wedangwe,” followed by “Munozvigona Sei” after leaving the mine’s employ. This album gained him recognition in the Sungura music scene, particularly with the hit “Wamatuka.”
