Former opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has waded into the current free cars spree by businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has been spoiling musicians with free top-of-the-range vehicles this year. He is mainly targeting ZANU PF-affiliated musicians. The businessman has also been gifting artists who, without showing direct support, still perform at ZANU PF events.
So far, Jah Prayzah, Sulumani Chimbetu, Sandra Ndebele, Fantan, Seh Calaz, Mathias Mhere, Andy Muridzo and Diana Samkange have received Mercedes-Benz SUVs.
Yesterday, he surprised sungura maestro Alick Macheso with a Mercedes-Benz GLE400d, much to his teary delight.
Wicknell has also given Toyota Aquas to Instagram influencers, Robert Mugabe’s doppelganger Jah Bobo and comedian Prophet Madungwe.
Because of his benevolent public show, Wicknell has kept the streets abuzz, and people who have been attacking him online for years are praising him.
The former CCC President noticed how Wicknell Chivayo’s acts have kept people talking. He thought of adding his two cents to the phenomenon.
Chamisa tweeted:
“GO AND SEE VICTOR…Jesus Christ is the true VICTOR. Seek Christ. Him Alone should be exalted. Depend on Him. Depend upon the true VICTOR. He conquered the world. Christ’s victory is over sin and death. There is folly of dependence upon man. Men are feeble and fickle. Only Christ is an all-sufficient and eternal refuge-The true Victor! Isaiah 1:11, 22, Heb. 2:14, 1 John 3:8).Blessed Sabbath. #SabbathGrace #Godisinit.”
People online had mixed emotions about this.
