A Gokwe man took matters into his own hands after catching his wife in the act of having an affair with a neighbour.
Instead of approaching the traditional courts, he resorted to an unconventional approach by sending a troop of baboons to demand compensation from the secret lover.
B Metro reports that the heartbroken husband, who hails from Katunhumara Village under Chief Nemangwe, had suspicions of his wife’s infidelity after intercepting text and WhatsApp messages on her cell phone.
These messages detailed the @dulterous relationship and their s3xual encounters.
When the husband finally caught his wife in the act with the secret lover in their garden, he was sh0cked.
The wife had pretended to visit the garden to water vegetables, while her real intention was to meet her lover.
The secret lover fled upon noticing the husband, but not before being confronted.
According to sources, the husband demanded two cows from the secret l0ver as compensation for sleeping with his wife, but the request was refused.
It was then that the husband decided to take a more… unusual approach.
Sources claim that the husband began sending a troop of baboons to the secret lover’s home, demanding the compensation.
“It was quite a spectacle, the secret lover’s home became a regular baboon hangout. They would show up, sometimes a whole troop of them, just milling around his yard, seemingly waiting,” said a source.
Not only did the baboons cause a disturbance, but the secret lover also experienced unexplained bleeding from his manh00d, which began shortly after the incident in the garden. The situation was described as “bizarre and unsettling.”
Eventually, the secret l0ver couldn’t take it anymore and decided to pay up.
He approached the woman’s husband and agreed on a payment plan to settle the debt.
When reached for comment, Chief Nemangwe noted that the matter had not come to his attention and suggested that even if the parties resolve such matters independently, it is still important to bring them to the Chief’s attention for an amicable resolution.
