The Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Force, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa has toured and officially commissioned the long-awaited Dzivarasekwa Housing Project in Harare. The project aims to provide quality housing for the members of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF).
The flats have the capacity to accommodate hundreds of service members, addressing the shortage of housing that has plagued the military for years. The Dzivarasekwa Housing Project has witnessed the infrastructure development and government’s commitment to supporting the Zimbabwe Defence Forces as they fulfill their duties.
The event was attended by the Vice President Dr Chiwenga, General Philip Valerio Sibanda, the Minister of Defence Force Oppa Muchinguri and other top officials in the Zimbabwe Defence Forces.
After the commissioning of the Dzivarasekwa Housing Project, the President and Commander in Chief commissioned Ford Ranger vehicles to the Zimbabwe Defence Forces for operational use. These vehicles will enable the defence forces to efficiently and effectively execute their duties.
