Vice President Kembo Mohadi says government is ready to consistently support the mining sector to flourish commended the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) for making significant strides in eliminating trade of conflict diamonds.
The Vice President was speaking at the official opening of the KPCS Plenary Meeting in Victoria Falls this Wednesday morning.
The meeting, being attended by delegates from accross the globe is deliberating on various ways to improve diamond trade.
Zimbabwe is the current chair of the KPCS, a development described by analysts as a perfect opportunity placing the Southern African country on the global map and exposing it to tourism and potential investors.
