A 83-year-old man is accused of taking turns with his 18-year-old grandson to sexually abuse his eight-year-old great-granddaughter.
This incident has left the Kawindi, Lusulu area community, where the incident took place, in disbelief.
The disturbing events reportedly began in September 2024 when the young girl went to her grandfather’s hut to bring him food.
While there, he allegedly forced her to undress and then @ss@ulted her, threatening her to keep quiet. It is claimed that he continued to abus3 her on multiple occasions whenever she visited him.

Additionally, it’s reported that later that same month, the grandson, who is also a cousin to the girl, @ss@ulted her while she was asleep in the same room.
He is @ccused of sneaking into her blankets while she was asleep and subsequently abus!ng her.
The situation only came to light when the girl confided in a relative about the abus3. This led to a police report and the arr3st of both the grandfather and grandson.
They have since appeared before a magistrate in Binga, facing charges of rap3.
They were not asked to enter a plea and remain in custody until November 25, 2024.
