A lifeless body of 21-year-old Keener Tsanana, a student teacher at Guinea Fowl High School, was discovered in a room on the school’s premises.
She was found on January 25 at approximately 8 PM, having suffered severe injuries, including a swollen forehead and multiple bruises across her body.
National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the details surrounding the tr@gic event.

He stated that Tsanana was last seen on January 24 in the company of her boyfriend, 27-year-old Valentine Tamuka Zivera, a student at Hillside Teachers College in Bulawayo.
“Simbarashe Dzimba, a security guard at the school, reported the matter to the police after the body was discovered,” Comm Nyathi explained.
Investigations are ongoing, with police eager to interview Valentine regarding the circumstances of Tsanana’s d3ath.
Authorities also found Zivera’s belongings in the room where Tsanana was discovered, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
“We are appealing to the public for any information regarding Valentine’s location. Anyone with information can pass it on to any police station or officers on patrol,” Nyathi added, as the investigation into this tragic murder continues.
